What Should You Say?
- We demand the release of Israeli and foreign hostages
- We support the complete and total right for Israel to defend itself and to eradicate Hamas.
- Nothing can justify the slaughter of innocent people.
- Antisemitism and hate is behind this extreme form of cruelty and savagery.
- We condemn pro-Palestinian demonstrations around the world celebrating the murder of innocents and promoting Antisemitism.
- Hate and terrorism have no place in civil society. This is a fight against terrorism. Israel must win.
- We call on western nations (eg. Canada, U.S.A. and Europe to immediately stop funding the Palestinian Authority and Gaza.
- We are outraged by the justification of the murders by unions, students, academics and so-called "progressives".
- The people of Gaza have been denied freedom and dignity by Hamas and the Palestinian Authority. They are responsible for the challenges their population now faces.
- There is no moral equivalency between a democratic country like Israel and a terror organization (Hamas).
- Hamas is responsible for everything that will happen in Gaza in the coming days, not Israel.
- We strongly condemn the reference to Hamas as a "militant" group. Hamas is a terrorist organization, as legally designated by Canada and most wester allies.
FACTS:
- WHAT: On Saturday, October 7th, Hamas Palestinian terrorists broke through the border fence with Israel and attacked surrounding communities and a dance party. They murdered 1,400 Jews and non-Jews including 260 young adults at the party.
- Hamas terrorists also kidnapped up to 225 Israelis and foreign nationals, now being held in the Gaza strip.
- HOW: Hamas shot people, burned them alive, mutilated bodies and raped women. They killed entire families in their homes. There are reports of ISIL style beheadings.
- WHO: Is Hamas? Hamas is a Palestinian faction whose stated mission is to destroy Israel. Funded by Iran and Qatar, Hamas is a radical Islamic group that represses its own people and runs the Gaza strip, a small area vacated by Israel in 2005.
- WHY? Hamas's stated objective is the destruction of the Jewish State of Israel.
Demands:
- We demand the immediate return of all hostages taken by Hamas to Gaza.
- We demand the immediate dissolution of Hamas in the Gaza strip and the arrest of all Hamas terrorists and war criminals.
- We demand an immediate cessation of rocket attacks by Hamas.
- We demand the immediate cessation of rocket fire from Lebanon and Syria by Hezbollah and other terror groups.
Social Expectations:
- We expect civil society organizations to issue statements supporting Israel's right to defend itself and denouncing the Hamas carnage.
- We expect western governments to stand alongside Israel, especially when Israel moves into Gaza.
- We expect our governments to stop funding UNRWA and Palestinian organizations.
How Can You Help Defend Israel?
- Issue statements in support.
- Help educate the public about the truth through social media.
- Post information on social media, write letters to the editor, publish articles in support of Israel.
- Confront left wing progressives who are justifying the atrocity with the truth. Be relentless.
- Advise your local police of any hate crime incidents.
- Be vigilant and aware about your community institutions and organizations. Report any safety concerns to police.
- Attend your community's solidarity rallies.
- Please do not put yourself in physical harms way!
