Vivian Bercovici: "Canada was silent. Canadian values mean something. I am shocked by the silence of our leaders. Yuri provided AGPI with shocking eye-witness testimony about being kidnapped by Hamas and his fortunate escape. Most shocking is his description of what he saw on October 7th: "They cut the bodies of my friends. They killed them in terrible ways. They were shooting everywhere, everyplace. The media and certain political figures wasted no time spreading baseless accusations that Israel had bombed al-Shifa hospital early in the war. Shockingly, it has come to light that not only did Israel not bomb Al-Shifa, but it was, in fact, Hamas that callously targeted a hospital in Israel.
Unbelievably, this crucial information was conveniently omitted by Western media. We've uncovered and are now exposing the disturbing truth that Hamas intentionally struck Barzilay Hospital's children's rehabilitation center. While there were no reported casualties, our video starkly reveals the sheer destruction of the children's clinic, with shattered glass and walls mercilessly pockmarked by shrapnel and ball bearings. Yet, the world inexplicably chose to turn a blind eye to this blatant act of aggression.
Former Gaza resident Hamid, is a devout Muslim. His wife was wearing a Hijab when Hamas murdered her in cold blood on October 7th, 2023
What is his message to the Muslim world? 'There are laws of war in our Quran. Hamas did not follow any law. They put the Quran's laws on the side and followed the laws of Iran and Hezbollah. "Children, women, physically and mentally challenged, Arabs, Muslims, Druze, Thais...they tried to behead them...is that a human being?" Hamid encourages the Muslims of the world to come see with their own eyes and what Hamas is doing. "Who brought Gaza to this point? Where are they? In Qatar. In Iran. Hezbollah. While their people eat shit....they are sitting in Qatar counting deaths...because Qatar pays for each one. Its a business". (full translation coming)

October 25, 2023: This afternoon, The Abraham Global Peace Initiative (AGPI) hosted a live briefing directly from Israel featuring IDF Spokesperson, Lt. Gen. Jonathan Conricus.
Conricus revealed that Israel is currently facing challenges on four fronts, including conflicts with Hamas, Hezbollah, Lebanon, and Syria. While Israel remains vigilant in defending its northern border against Hezbollah, its primary focus is directed towards addressing the situation with Hamas in the south. Conricus emphasized that the ongoing tension with Hezbollah is not a sustainable long-term strategy.
He reiterated that Israel's overarching objective is the complete dismantling of Hamas, rendering it incapable of future attacks against Israel. Conricus underscored Israel's commitment to distinguishing between Hamas militants and innocent civilians, ensuring that humanitarian needs are met to the best of their abilities.
When asked about what friends of Israel can do in the diaspora, Conricus provided a comprehensive set of suggestions, encouraging advocates of Israel to become actively engaged in supporting the cause.
Following Conricus' briefing, attendees were moved by the heartfelt plea of Sheli Shemtov, the mother of one of the hostages. She shared the harrowing story of her son, Omer, who, along with over 220 other Israelis, was taken hostage by Hamas on October 7th.
The meeting was graced by the presence of AGPI's Founding Chairman and CEO, Avi Abraham Benlolo, Director of Education Dr. Neil Orlowsky, and Israel Fellow and former Knesset member, Ruth Wasserman Lande.
The Future of Israel and Its Defenders
SYNOPSIS: The truth is that Israel has won the war for its survival. It just hasn’t completely registered yet. The Future of Israel and its Defendersis a new optimistic documentary that celebrates Zionism and turns conventional wisdom about Israel on its head. Through the lens of experts, military strategists, “start-up-nation” leaders, journalists, and former political leaders, it challenges traditional misconceptions of Israel including about Antisemitism and defamatory campaigns that falsely call Israel an “apartheid state” and Jews colonizers. As Israel reaches its 75th anniversary, the film challenges the hostile narrative by showcasing an Israel that is maturing and feeling stronger than ever (despite current challenges), particularly following the signing of the Abraham Accords. This is a film that will lift your spirit about Israel’s future and inspire and empower you to renew your commitment to the Jewish State.
